Healthy & Quick Fall Dinner in a skillet.
Cabbage, garlic, onions, home canned tomatoes from my garden make a wonderful home cooked comfort food type dinner that is healthy and in one skillet!
Sauteed Cabbage with Sausage etc.
Melt 1 stick butter in large skillet, add 1 small head of cabbage [diced], 2 cloves garlic [minced] 1 small-medium onion [diced] cook on medium high heat for 5 min stirring to keep from sticking to pan. Add, 2 pints home canned tomatoes [30 oz canned from store] 1 pound chicken with apple sausage links sliced, 1/2 teasp freshly ground pepper, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until cabbage is done. Makes about 4-6 servings.
